Using Barbeque lights as fuel

Hi guys
What sort of effect does using Barbeque lights as fuel have on the boiler (apart from the build up of carbon which is easily removed?
Cheers

as this question has been asked twice and pops up every now and again its fair to offer a much deeper explanation. soooooo..........!

there isnt anything wrong with using fire lighters!!!!!!   ive even put a oxy torch under my models!!! ive used the wet rag and solid fuel tablets.......   all these methods work no problem at all.BUT......HERE ARE SOME REASONS NOT TO USE THEM........
1) the fuel isnt pure and can contain more or less flammable material.
2) in the event of injury from using un recommended fuel ALL INSURANCE COVERAGE IS AXED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this will means that you will have to pay for all damages and this might be millions!!!!!
3) fuels are rated to a burner and the burner is matched to the model/engine so if an un recommended fuel is used expect long term damage!!!
4) firelighters use a wax...... if water is leaked onto it it will splatter causing FIREBALLS  to shoot out. this might sound great but not if it BURNS THE HOUSE DOWN!! or CAUSES SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY.
 5) THIS HOBBY IS STILL REACTING FROM THIS VERY THING FROM A ACCIDENT WHICH HAPPENED IN THE 1970S! which saw our hobby almost disappear and mamod to go bankrupt!!!!!!!!!
6) those of us who have experienced a model melt down (i have!!!) where the solder melts and lets things go know what it like to suffer the loss of a model and have hissing steam going everywhere!!! this is why i only use SILVER SOLDER from that day forth

i could go on and on and on...when i was told DONT!!! i asked why????? those that said dont couldnt say why not so i experimented and the above reasons are only some of my findings!! the thing was if i was prepared to clean my engine and fix the damage i couldnt really see what harm could come from using bbq fuel . mamod solid fuel is just as bad in my opion and should be banned from sale!!!!

its the feared meltdown  that scares me the most!! there is a bigger risk of meltdown if other fuels are used than solid tablets (which are dangerous) or meths.gas??? well ????thats another subject!

btw ...off topic... i used to do fire eating as a stage act when i was younger!     when you are EATING FIRE you REALLY need to know the difference in fuels lol lol

Using an oxy acety torch seems like a particularly poor method of heating a boiler...did you ever bring that one into the fire eating act too?

thanks mo. a bit off topic  but i use to do stage magic shows and fire eating was part of it! for the fun of it i might get a vid done. lighting the burner. one torch for me and one for the burner lol lol. around kids you have to be careful (its too late for me lol) its the same with this debate . someone who isnt experienced tries and imitates ......... next thing you know everybody is stopped from doing things they enjoy.
