Valuation: MM1

Hi Guys,
I was wondering wether I should buy this MM1 I saw in the antiques shop, it's a raised base (paint in OK condition), with flatsided firebox (paint good, small scalloped eged decal in good condition), boiler relitivley clean, still laquered, engine frame a little worn, no overflow plug and the paint is flaking off the flywheel which is relitively a small one. Is it worth £17.50? Thank You!

I'd say yes but mainly because you can check it out more closely than you ever can with ebay. Even good pics on ebay can sometimes hide problems that would show up after a couple of mins in your hand.

It's a fair price and if you want it, go for it.
Cranko

I'd jump at #50 NZ
Mamodman123

Yup, worth that of anyones money SB!
tmuir

Would certainly be worth more than that in OZ, probably atleast double that
Stitch

I paid more than twice that for the one I got from UK ebay. Go for it
mc_mc

Does it have the burner? But I'd buy it at that price I think.

Sounds good to me, you dont have to pay shipping so yeah go for it. The price is right to me
