You need to make a little flat cap for him and call him James.
|
Les Marsh

I'm thinking ahead to the boat.

Would it help to drive the countershaft from the small inboard pulley on the Jensen? Would slow things down a touch.
Should enter the train picture into Engine of the Month

Thanks Mark,
A little too much levity for such hallowed halls methinks.
Andrew just ran the fairground again and with the lubrication on the accessories starting to wear in it really flew. We will definately have to move to the small pulley. The roundabout was starting to look like a helicopter.

Hey, I only spent about 20 seconds on this, but the cap is from the picture of Sir James with Mr Mailns, there may be lack of detail in the cap, but it is James cap.

This one will be taken down in a day or two, again only a few seconds, no time taken to do it right.

???????
I would think that a Malins riding in a Mamod coach would be a good thing right?
It is all copy and paste, I know some that can do it to where it would look real. I am a rank amateur.
LOL poor Andrew must be on sensory overload, so much cool stuff happening all at once.
Life is good.

Both him and Aaliyah thought the Mocha train photos were really cool!. They even wanted to run the engine with him on board.
And yes, Les was right They're already looking ahead to the Launch crew.

You better tell them that Mocha could run away! Poor thing would not be able to live long without them to feed him and care for him. Best not let him go for any long trips on the Mamod Railway as he might run off.

The really big important question, more vital than anything we have done, or anybody else come to think of it, comes way above earthquakes and train rides and Nicks' three inches is.....
|
Les Marsh
|
.....It's of National, no take that back, International importance, it's something that we all need to know......

Just started the Tupping Time thread.
Engine of the month would seem a much more sacred institution, however. Has there ever been a frivolous winner?

We're off to a pool now to steam the launch. Soon as we get back I'll throw him in the Jacuzzi and find out.
If not does this look like his size?

His eyesight is terrible. Why else would he volunteer for this stuff? With glasses too big to use he can't see what he's getting into.
His olfactory sense is his primary guide. He hates esbit. The cunning use of the Jensen 25 kept him oblivious to the dangers of the fairground project 'til the last possible moment.
