I saw an opportunity to dispose of an annoying friend and took it 
on the way back we went past the angel of the north
then we stopped for a bit and stretched our legs
truly gods country
on the road again
the transporter bridge means we are almost home

Coming from a country that has been inhabbitted for over 60 000 years but having nothing to show for the first 59 800 years but a few midden piles, some cave painting and carving I do truely love the ruins of castles and ancient villages that are scattered all across Europe.
Can't wait to come back.
Will hopefully be buying my plane ticket tomorrow night.
