Aww, thanks everyone.
It is good to be back, and I hope to be talking with all of my forum friends once again soon.
I say soon as toy steam has taken a bit of a back seat at the moment, as garden railways have overtaken it. More of which at a later date

A lot, really!
My MSS loco 'Victor' is now running, thanks to a new set of Dream Steam's gas flow cylinders. He still needs running in, and then I'll be painting the bodywork.
As you can see I also replaced the brass cheeseheas screws with steel hex headed ones.
I'm now waiting for FC (short for Forest Classics, in case you were wondering) to post one of their Bix gas burners for him.
I've built a lot of 16mm rolling stock:
I.P. Engineering MoD brake van. This is still in build, but I am very pleased with the outcome so far.
Since that pic was taken it now has its wheels.
AnDel colliery hutch, which will serve as a tender for 'Victor'
AnDel bogie wagon
Binnie bolsters (now painted grey)
and today I am building an I.P. Engineering battery electric 'Feanor' kit and one of their North Ings tanker wagons

Nothing as yet, the garden really needs more work before I start laying track that could potentially get in the way at a later date.
Also I've decided to just do a circuit for now, so I can actually run something!

Lovely stuff there mate!
Do those gas flow cylinders make much of a difference? I'm currently modifying seven colours sh*t out of my SL3, and I think my SL1's next in line!

Hi Moose,
I'm still running them in so I will have to get back to you at a later date.
However, my IP Jane has them fitted and she could pull a house down! Well, a doll's house maybe

The gas flow cylinders are much better engineered than the standard Mamod or MSS cylinders The ports are much more precisely drilled and much better finish all around, in particular the mating surfaces on the port block.
My IP Jane seems to run better and better all the time and is a huge difference from an unmodified loco. It'll pull all the stock I have plus a Roundhouse Millie too! I wanted to get some videos but have misplaced the charger for my Camcorder!
