Well it seems the "In thing" at the mo- About JameWell, as you will all know, my name is James Chantry, 14 years old. I live in a beautiful part of Lincolnshire, just yon side of Gainsborough, Marshall country! I love old stuff, buildings, engines etc etc. I'm also keen on agriculture, and we live on a 14 acre smallholding (yeah, not alot of land, but it's enough! ). I breed rare breed sheep called "Lincoln Longwools". Well, I don't breed them personally, the sheep tup the other sheep, I ain't like that I'm a bit of a joker aswell, and anything I say you shouldn't take it to heart, cos most of the time I am just pulling your leg
I got into this hobby of steam in September '05, and now I have a collection of 37 Mamod, Wilesco, SEL, Steamco and Jensen engines. I also have tools to cobble dogs with! The very vast majority are bought by me like, cos being a scrounger who get's everything bought for you does you no good in life when you have to fend for yourself like
I set up this forum about a year ago, and never expected it to take off. I set it up as a bit of a joke. One day I logged onto the old forum at school, and to my horror it had been shut down! Everyone moved onto here, and hey presto, I were landed with running this place! I can't complain though. I admit, I have alot of maturing to do, and most of the time I'm just a prat, but I have made some stonking me-ats on here, Mamodman, Rog, Wallace, Sandy, Moosey, Tony etc etc etc.
I'm a bit of a wheeler dealer, a bit of a Del Boy. Sell me granny for a pound type of guy
Anyhoo, thanks for letting me waste 5 minutes of your time by making you read the crap I just wrote

Aye James...good stuff there...always learn something new when reading such intros. At 37 engines in under 2 years...I'd say you've done OK for yourself...add a little forum with nearly 200 steamers on it thanks to you and you have quite an empire!!!
Lets hope year two of the forum will see continued growth and even smoother waters.

Lincolnshire used to be the biggest county in Britain! It was split up into Humberside and all that cack though, so now Yorkshire is biggest I reckon. Lincolnshire is the 2nd biggest county in Britain!
