I have played baseball in Junior High and Senior High, it is pretty boring to watch (College football is more fun !).
Cricket has a certain elegance about it, but the rules are like reading the tax code !
On any given day, I would rather watch racing, NOT NASCAR (roundy-round), but Formula One, 24-hours events, Grand Prix, that kinda stuff.

Fabulous....
I moved to the UK 15 years ago, and always said that the day I'd understand cricket I'd understand the British. Still waiting!

Cricket's much easier to understand than football - there's no off-side rule for starters!

At least she caught it.
One of the people at Wimbledon who look down the lines of the court to see whether a ball is in or out got a serve from Andy Murray at about 80mph hit them right on the head! She leant into it though
It bounced off at quite a pace as well

Stick the ball in the goal, how hard is that?

I just looked at that clip again - she cheated! She climbed up the wall to get it - that must be against the rules!
My favourite baseball clip is the one where a bird flies into the path of the ball. If you haven't seen it, do a Googlr search for "baseball bird" and you'll find several versions of the clip.

... I played baseball as a kid, back in California. Nice game, kids batting and running around bare-footed, immortal, undestroyable, as all kids (think, and their parents pray!) they are.
Ah! Those were the days! Endless Summers in Livermore, California ...
Cricket, I tried my fortune with here in Austria, of all places. The Gentleman's Game, for sure.
Let's be grateful for the manifold of games to play ...
Right, gents?
And three cheers to that girl! Darn good catch!
