Very nice! Not sure of value though.
By the way, the boiler is a #500 not a #501

€250 - €350?????? Depends really on what they cost you and how much, if any, profit you wish to make.

Ooooh...sorry, my fault
Yes, a Stuart 500 boiler is it....
BTW I have one guy offering me 350 GBP
Is this an acceptable price?

Mirko, the 10V alone with reversing gear is worth $500 USD, I would put the package at $800 USD.

Come on, where are you all, Stuart experts ???
No other ideas?
I don't need a price of what YOU would pay for it
I just need a price that comes from good observation of these engines selling on ebay ?

Hi Mirko!
There is one for sale at the moment on Tradera.
http://www.tradera.com/ANGMASKIN-auktion_99125030#pic
It finishes in 1½ hours.
It's been up before but has never reached his reserve, whatever that is.
But have a look anyway, it's a bit different compared to yours.

Nice engine!, seems a shame to sell it.
As for price i would hazard a guess about £500-£600 mark probably more as it is a complete steam plant and in really nice condition. I know a new stuart steam plant would cost in excess of £1000 with all the fittings from their website.

Yeah, but the suart prices for fully built engines are somewhat silly.
Nobody pays that much for a finished engine (the same ebay engines are sold for a lot less)
Thanks to all who have helped me finding a price.
I will sell a few small items on ebay now (not this engines for now)
Maybe his one has to go later...who knows

If I was buying this model I would expect to pay around £450-£550
A Stuart 500 boiler with S50 steam engine in my collection, which had no feedpump and had to be rebased cost £350. Your model has reverse which always adds to the price. A very fine model there

I recently paid GBP206 for a 501 boiler with hand pump, not as nicely painted as yours but in good working order.
I also paid GBP90 for a V10 without reversing gear, lubricator or oil cups. I’ve seen several of same condition go for more than this since though I think I was lucky with the price.
