What does an SA1 burner look like...?I've got two SA1 roadsters here (both sight-glass) but neither have their burner - I was wondering which type I need to buy?
Cheers, Buzz.

Thanks Kenneth but I thought the one I tried in it was the standard TE/SR one but it just flopped about loosely....?

That is odd, it sits fine in mine. Has anyone modified your SA1 ?

Yeh solid fuel or meths burners are the same for the TE - SR - SA1 and with the SA1 it slots under the boiler and sits down in the oblong cut out part..

having had similar trouble I have just had a look at three engines a fire engine, early roadster and a late roadster and I found that in all of them the meths burner fits ok but the solid fuel burner that came with the fire engine does not the plastic end of the handle fouls the under body The other type with the round end fits much better in all of them Hope that makes sense

Maybe you've nailed it - the one I tried has a plastic tip on the handle.
