What ive been up to today...Well today was my second work session at twyford water works and am now knackered! as always the day started with a brew and signing in then Me,dad,matt and Greham headed upto the railway for a tidy up in the loco sheds. Handballed all the locos and stock out for a clean off. Then we were shown how to use the winding engine, the track at current isnt very long and is tricky to judge, after we got the hang of it we knocked up a make shift saftey fence for the open day. Only when we had finished we were told we are a a few of less than 25 people who can opereate one of the 3 incline railways left in britain!!! the scariest thing is im demonstrating it to the puiblic on the open day 
Well sorry for boring you silly and taking no ohots will get some next week when we finish it off and cleanthe engines!

Will post pics of our open day on the 4th of may ( if i get chance to take any!) We had a exhbit in the form of a steam roller turn up last week! Anyone planning to come down on any of the open days?

Like i said eventually with the full rialway system done ther should be three levels feeding the inlcine,boiler house and kilns but due to dwindling numbers its becoming ever harder to restore everything and keep thing running! we have just completed a kiosk which is in this month old glory!

Apperently there are offcial photos next week :S Well im there fir 4 days straight so no hope of escaping!

Well today was the first of a four day stint at the works 
Work today and tomorrow Open day sunday and static day on monday, Tomorrow if all goes to plan i will be road rolling the car park on an exhibitors Roller and HOPEFULLY on sunday im going to be driving reclessly on another!

417 on its first major road test since a 8 year resto! Its there as the Hants and Dorset Bus dosnt have a front axel yet :S
there were also 3 steamers arrive under there own power but batteries went flat!
