I've found MM usually gets it about right with Mamods Odilon.

I'm sure he'll give you a pretty accurate guess.
Nick

I paid $56 or £28 for mine in January:

Les Marsh

I paid £33.75 and it has an extra shaft and gears.

Nick

I don't know much about these or the price. On U.S. ebay they often bring over $100, boxed ones $150, but I am sure they are cheaper over there.
Nick

Here's a completed listing in Australia :

Here you go, UK prices :

For a decent one 40-60

Anything below that would be a bit rough, I did however sneak one a while back for 25 pounds but the seller pulled out of the deal

Looks a great deal Moose!

What is that other boiler thing with it?
Nick

Was it just listed? It only had 6 views.
MooseMan

I think I caught it after about 10 minutes listing.

No idea what the other thingy is....it may just be a pressurised burner. We shall see!

It looks like a pressurised spirit burner.
MooseMan

That would be really good...been wanting one of those!

"Smithers, open up the velocitator on that MEC 1"

it would be interesting to see what you could make of a tired one Moose.
Les Marsh

You are certainly getting a lot for your money.
Sandman

Nice to know that I'm not the only one.

I use it to ask questions and watch items. It's set up to a fake email too.
Minor1PJG

Well done there Moose

If you relisted the Meccano gears and other bits you could easily get double your money back.

Glad to see it's on it's way to a good home

My MEC1 purchase fell into the usual £40 - 60 range
