What size screws are used to bolt mamod locos together?

Does anyone know what size machine screws are used to bolt the cylinders and frames together on the Mamod Locomotive?

I imagine they are 6 BA or something...

Many Thanks!

Alan

Thanks for the quick reply! Now all I need to do is buy some 6BA Cheeseheads and another lot of taps and dies!

Isn't standardisation of screw threads great...**mumbles UNC, Metric, BSF...ME...**

6BA

If it is of any help, 6BA is the same pitch as American National Fine 4-48 and .002" smaller in diameter. So you can often tap out to 4-48 and use ANF fasteners.

Another useful one to know is that 0BA is the same as M6x1
