Using his Time Machine, taking The Doggie & travelling over the Transporter Bridge, and down the Tin Mine, he has the winning numbers for the lottery on 29 June 2009.
James

LOL!!!

But one question, why dig it up next year when you know what's in it?

Aren't they meant to be found by random people in the future??
johnreid

I bet that chewing gum will have lost its flavor by then.

They are a great idea, but I would leave it longer

In 1984 a mate and I did one in his front yard. He moved only a few years after.
Anyway, only last year the house he lived in came up for sale and a mate of mine bought it. He asked me if he hired a Bobcat could I shape the front yard, and put in some gardens.
It wasn't until I literally sat in the bobcat did I remember about the time capsule. I kept a very close eye out, not knowing exactly where it was buried.
Almost straight away I hit it.

It was really interesting to look through what we put in there.
toxx

... a Time Bombe would have been interesting. You should leave it there longer, though, say 10 years. Be more interesting after longer a time.
alan2525

You could bury an old mamod, then dig it up 12 months later when it's all rusted out so out, list it on Ebay as in Very Good Condition!

what was in it
pauly

1 of my dads mate buried an old ford anglia that he wanted shot of when his wife was on holiday in his back garden and turned it into a rockery
Wallace

Pauly we put some coins in it. Newspaper.
A letter for those who found it (not planning on me finding it) which included info on what we ate, what TV shows we liked etc

Even a cassette tape of the number 1 song at the time of burying it. Unfortunately I don't have a tape player to try it.

Oh, and some comics
