Why I hate daylight saving! Here in Australia we do daylight savings the opposite way around to the UK. We do it to give us an extra hour of sunlight after work.
Twice our state government (Western Australia)has forced a trial on us before and twice it was voted out in the referendum.
In 2006 our state government decided to force another 3 year trial on us before they will give us a referendum to vote it out again.
And the reason why I hate it, well there are many but the biggest one is its coming up on 9:30pm here and its still 32C (90F) outside and today it only got to 39 last summer we had one day reach 46C.
When its that hot I don't want the sun to still be up when I get home I want it gone so it can start cooling down again.
Rant over.

There are some advantages of living in the retarded state, like no daylight saving, .

Over here they are working to make Daylight savings last even more months, they might just as well make it year round and forget about it. One of our Canadian members can answer this, didnt Newfoundland go a half hour in the middle and make it year round?
I remember watching CBC and times being listed as 8:00, and 7:30 Newfoundland.
Makes sense, ends all of that clock changing nonsense and still gives the Lawyers and Bankers that little extra time for Golf.

Yea, but I hate when it's dark at 4:00 pm.

At the moment I go to work in the dark, and I also finish in the dark.
I think they like keeping me in the dark.

Can we swop some of our rain for your sunshine, it would help with your droughts and the sun would definitely cheer us up.

We've been getting rain here now
But once the sunshine comes back through, you can clearly take it
It means taking the humidity too

I like it in the summer, out on the lake fishing, and there is still light at 9:30 to 10:00 pm.
