You'll have a tough time cutting wood with it, but it makes a great sound cutting card!

I shall experiment with tiny match sticks and cardboard any excuse to destroy err i mean re engineer things using steam power.

If it makes any difference to you..that is a late 60's (maybe early 70's) model (green pedestal, with blue base)
Just my 2 cents...
It does make a cool sound cutting card stock.  You may need a rubber belt tho...
