Wilesco D10/100I got me the engine for Wilescos 100th anniversary.
It is a bit disappointing because it looks exactly like the D10/60. The only difference is the inscription on the boiler and on the wooden chest. Luckily there are no more Wilesco anniversaries for quite a while and so the Wilesco collectors are untroubled with boring repetitions.
Here are some pictures:
For comparison three pictures of the D10/60

I skipped it because the faint etching really prohibits running
Lovely but essentially a collectible shelf queen

they look real nice for sure , but i skipped also because i reckon it should have had extra knobs or pipes or something besides writing to make it different.

Wilesco should have more of an effort to celebrate 100 years.

I think it looks very nice - Like the style of the writing on it.

This is a very nice looking engine and the engraving is better than on the 60th anniversary one. But how come it looks different in the pictures online, even on Wilescos own pages? The color is different and it says Wilesco instead of Wilhelm Schröder GMBH. Are they publicity pictures taken in an early stage and the final engraving changed, or are there two versions?

The engraving is Lasered on....it CAN be fired.....
I think they should have used a D16 (cast rods)........
I hate sheet metal rods! I run mine to much for that....bolt in metal hole stuff.........ugh.....
