Wilesco D20 RestorationI got this D20 from Mirko (Dampfzauberer) a while back, i decided it needed a resto, it was stricken with rust.Mirko sold it to me as he bought it, he hadn't touched it. I fired it up and the boiler got up to pressure but the steam wasn't reaching the piston so it was a complete strip down. The pipes that run under the base were bunged up with solder and the steam control valve pipe had broken off, so there was a bit of work to do apart from repainting the base. One of the bolts on the sight glass had been superglued in, didn't have a nut on it, so there was a leak on there. I resprayed the base and engine base, let it harden off and then started the rebuild. Look at the pics and you'll see a vast difference,
