Hi Lew,
Sound little runner you have there...should serve you well. I read somewhere that Wilesco utilized a film cannister or disposable camera body as the firebox on that model in an effort to demonstrate how those parts can be recycled. Not sure if this is true or an urban myth, but none the less it looks good and from your videos runs great.

That is pretty good, especially considering the price.
Would be interesting to see it running some tools to see what it can do. Maybe run it in a few more times first though.

Depending on condition - last one I saw went for 65 I recall.

Mike, really nice video of the D455. I picked one up a few years ago and they do indeed offer a lot of value for the money...only 2 centerflue models in my collection and that is one of them...great design.

Wilesco's other upright . . .Mike. very impressive video! 1st time I've seen the back of a D455. huge tray! I've only seen the smallish ones that come with Wilesco's D16.
like to see it power something please.
btw- my mum rouses at me if I ever run my steamers in her kitchen
