Woodrow Light Railway roster

Here's my locomotive roster.

Torak was the Woodrows first steam locomotive and the only original loco in regular operation.
Built in Doncaster to a simple free steaming pot boiler design and painted racing green Torak is the crews choice for fast express runs across the desolate wasteland (or the barrens as the locals refer to them) that separates the Woodrow hills from the coast.
Originally an open cabbed loco and used for everything from express to slow freights Torak was upgraded with a cab and improved valve gear and taken off freights entirely as more locos came to the Woodrow and the jobs where spread out.
Toraks remains a firm faviourate and is beloved by the shed hands.

Coath is the second steam loco to be purchased by the Woodrow, originally for use the in guarry she proved to be a useful loco but since the quarries closure she has remained at the back of the shed comming out only for special events.
Built by IP Coath is considered to be the loco that Mamod should have created, built to a similer design but with improvments everywhere from the boiler to the frames Coath is a small meths fired loco that can have boiler top ups as well as meths top ups tp achieve constant operation.

Unnamed RH Millie
as yet unamed this Millie class was purchased form the Stoneleigh show to provide fast freight services, though some repaired where needed she has proved to be reliable and freesteaming.
Originally supplied with a cab and painted Marroon she has since had the cab removed and been repainted black to fit her freight status.
It was discovered during her trials and modification that she is from the first batch of Millies so is over 10 years old making her the Woodrows second oldest operational locomotive.

Unnamed Accucraft Caradoc
Bought to provide a suitable loco in the winter Caradoc was an initial failure when it was discovered that she couldn't produce enough steam in the cold to haul trains, but she found use hauling slow freights and other heavy trains.
She was also trialed on passenger workings but once again couldn't produce enough steam.
She has been kept as a spare engine until some recent modifications improved her steam production.
she is currently undergoing trials for Sunday Market and slow freight workings.

Vincent
Purchased as an experiment into geared locos Vincent was originally considered a cursed locomotive.
Blighted by horrendous burner whistles and being involved in several accidents it wasnt until the burner was modified and a new gas brand tried that Vincent became a loved member of the roster.
With the problems resolved Vincent has proven useful in just about every task the railway has given her, heavy freight to local passenger trains are a walk in the park for Vincent.
Even in the winter when more conventional locos like Caradoc where disabled Vincent proved to be capable.
Vincent is even capable of powering generators and other devices with her chain driven flywheel.

Paul Jackson was purchased to give the railway some class, as number 10 of 100 locos produced Paul Jackson was created to a top of the line design andconstruction.
Capable of doing everything though she is usually reserved for Lord Woodrows private trains and the Woodrows diner trains.
Free steaming and capable of any railway task Paul Jackson is held in high regard and should prove useful in the winter snow with her hign capacity free steaming boiler which hopefully wont get bogged down by the cold like Caradocs does.
