Wallace

Wow, excellent pics Les. Thanks for posting those

Some beautiful engines and accessories.
Les Marsh

Thankyou.
Mamodman123

Wow, what a collection of Bowmans there

What are the plans for the 122? a repaint or something?
Wallace

So many faves there, but that drum roller accessory (like it would wash gravel or something) would be high on the list of wants.

As is the windmill with the water pump, all in one.
johnreid

Quite a collection of engines and accessories there, I bet it was a fun gathering.

That is a Bing Sifter or sand toy c1904.

The Windmill is a Sand Dredger which is also a Bing c1910.

They are 1" thick brass and weigh 1lb each.

Thanks for that info    Really appreciated.

1lb flywheels

That 101 flywheel is damn heavy, they aren't all brass though. Just the outer rim

I stand corrected, mostly brass.
Nick

I don't have any yet, I am still waiting for mine to arrive from the States.
johnreid

I hope that some day I will own a Bowman, every one I see is so impressive. I love the looks of them.
Cranko

John, I want a Bowman too! If they ever show up on US ebay, I hope we don't drive it way up bidding against eachother.

Be still oh beating heart.

After the Wilson earned first runner-up for EOM, a forum search for "wilson's" brought me here.

The first page, all those photos...Les, you're killing me!

I've never heard of the Wilson. Yours looks wonderful, but what about them?
Rare? How old are they?
Sandman

Congrats on an excellent display there Les.

You've done our hobby proud mate.

Well done.

Thankyou, but all I know is that they made two different models, they were made in Liverpool around 1946/8 and as for rare I have only seen a handful on e-bay in the last three or four years.

Thankyou but not all the models are mine, some belong to Chris Withers.

Wow, a blast form the not so distant past

Although not a big Vertical fan, that Wilson is a fine engine Kes, keep entering it as it does deserve to be EOM and I am sure it will some day soon, just like I will some day own a Bowman
Nick

So we won't be bidding eachother up, like I wrote?
redryder

Looks like you were having some serious fun.
Thank you for the great photos.
