YosaO.k. then, here goes.
My name is Phil, and as you've deduced, I'm from Liverpool, a follower the Mighty Reds. I'm 44 and divorced, but very close to my three kids, two girls and a boy, Jack is the youngest at 15. He spends almost every weekend with me. 'Er indoors is my partner of some 5 years, Helen. She's only 30 and full of fun, and is a real mate, the kids think she's ace. Why Yosa? Well, it's the traditional nickname for anybody called Hughes, here in Liverpool, don't know about the rest of the country though. I've got three Brothers, all younger, and both parents still living.
Nearly every weekend is spent up on the hills in North Wales, land of my forefathers, not this week though, heavy domestics getting ready for Christmas. I've always collected, 'er indoors calls it hoarding, mostly toy related, Dinky, Corgi, Lead Soldiers, etc, and lately got into steam on a whim. Loving it so far. Unfortunately for 'er indoors, given the size of my house, my biggest collection by far is books, I'm an avid reader. I've also made plastic kits since I was about 10 years old, though not nearly so many as I used to.
I have my own project management company, working within the construction industry, but hoping to take early retirement, when I can realy get stuck into my many interests, and hopefully achieve my ambition of becoming the World Heavyweight Snakes and Ladders Champion.
I really enjoy the forum, and really appreciate the great gang of lads I've got to know through it. Looking forward to February, when I can hopefully meet as many of you as possible.

I think it's safe to say we all appreciate YOU, as well! It would be fantastic to be there in Feb, and meet you and the rest of the U.K. forum chaps. Drink a pint for me if you think about it! 'Er indoors...now that's a new one. Is that an assignment or a confinement? Very much enjoy your posts, Phil!

LOL You're hilarious, James, you really are. I never know what's coming next. I don't know what a mukka is but it sounds funny to me and I'm roaring over it. I do wish I could be there, mate. But I don't think my steam-powered wormhole-generating transporter will be perfected in time. It has to be right, you see, lest we end up with only my head over there...the fellows would have to lift my pints for me then, and I don't want to burden them.
