from the side view you provide it does appear to have the slide valving disconnected....You need a boat mate! it even has a prop!! Get to work.....
oh yeah, one more small item is missing.......
a good sized boiler- 20 quart or so!!
Let us know if it will be more than bookends!! _________________ Lagniappe readily offered and accepted,

Estimating from the floor tile size[ 12"?] I would put a wild guess for the stoke is about 2-3" and the bore could be 2" _ I would guess a 12-15' boat of light weight with a person or two...
any body else out there want to calculate bore X stroke - HP? I bet you can take off the slidevalve cover and dab on some mineral solvent or diesel oil and free up the gunky valve from old oil deposits- It could be made to run with a little air pressure-
Course this is me doing the guessing and you doing the work _________________ Lagniappe readily offered and accepted,

Course this is me doing the guessing and you doing the work | wow mo!!! i just measured up!! 2 inch stroke and you might be right about the bore .there is two inches across the head but it would depend on cylinder wall thickness. the prop is about the size of a 12volt trolling motor. i guess a big boiler and fuel plus a pilot ???? _________________ difficult things done straight away...the impossible takes me a little longer |

What a nice find!!!
That ought to clean up nicely and with a bit of effort will make a fine display.
