I can send you a couple of plans for open top steam launches by email if you want them. Both can be powered by a mamod type boiler and boat engine.
One is balsa construction, the other ply.
If anyone else wants them just let me know.

John

Hi,

Try looking at this site, Tony green has a number of boat related items and plans of small paddle model.

http://www.tonygreensteammodels.co.uk/acatalog/Construction_Plans.html

Also look at Hobbies web site, Model Boat magazine web site, they have some great links. Also look at MPBA (model power boat association)  web site.

There are a number of books that come up on ebay regarding basic model boats.  There will also be a model boat club in your area, they are more popular than you would think!!

I've been at boats on and off for 30 years at least, great hobby, even better when steam is involved.

Hope this helps

Hi Again Andy,

Have a look at Model Slipway site. They are model boat kit suppliers, they do not have any steam related stuff, but, their Links page is Brilliant!! and lists a number of clubs and contacts etc
