Graham stuck his bid in on this one and didn't expect to win it --- but here is number 3. This one is in for some modifications that we were not prepared to do on the first 2.

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Mamod-stea...ategoryZ14737QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

We also had 8 pieces of straight track arrive yesterday so now all we need are some points and we will have the start of a nice track. Hope you like this one -- Need a name for him -- Jilly

Nice buy GJ!

The seized cylinder should free itself with a bit of oil etc

What are the plans then?

Oh, sorry, you would have probably got it cheaper if it wasn't for me!

I gave up bidding on it as there are others coming along in a few days, but I thought that one would make a good basis for upgrades.

Hi Chris ---didn't see that you were bidding --sorry --we wanted the track and wagons -- and graham is thinking of upgrades on it as well. Anyway -- we are still pleased with the price.
Not sure about the plans yet MM --- will keep you posted.

Yes, you still got it for a great price.

Just that you might have got it at a better price if I hadn't bid. I was just after a speculative bargain.

Maybe now you have 3 locos I stand a better chance with the next one I bid on

Heyy Chris --those points look good -- are you bidding on them ?--if you are we wont go for them, but will if you aren't. (hope that makes sense.) Had a few glasses of champers here to celebrate another grandchild on the way for Graham. this will make no 3. Jilly

Nice buy G-J. Seems a very good price too

James, Jimbo is a nice name for a loco But it would have to be a "sales" train with a carriage full of pop pop boats. Stopping and selling stuff at every station

I am watching the points, but I wont bid.

I don't think they would work well on my bark chippings that I currently use for running the loco on.

Sure you will make better use of them.
