I guess once I'm managed to cover the dept/costs, then I'll be more than happy with my purchase but for the time being, I need to keep off eBay, as it's literally having a negative effect on my wallet
So from now on, I'm going to restore what I have, as opposed to buying anymore

Although if you wanted carriages, there were other ways, rather than spending 200+ pounds _________________ Solid Fuel tablets explode

I believe it's been fired before, so I'd have no issue/problem firing it again, it's only the old unfired stuff, I won't fire.

You're not wrong, it was the lack of a decent priced/conditioned railway set, that lead me to by my SL kit (+ track) & SL2. So now I've got what I was after or be it, I now have an extra 2 locos + full set of track (came with the SL kit).
So I'll see what this kit looks like + see how my SL kit looks like after it's paint job, then I may see about selling on either my SL kit or my SL2, complete with spare oval track. That said, I may just keep the lot and have one big track, with three locos

Errrrr lets work it out, the SL kit came with 16 curves + 1 straight. 1 curve was broken, so I bought 1 curve + 3 straights from Chas to make an oval i.e 16 curve & 4 straights.
I've just bought another kit that comes with 16 curves and 4 straights + it had an extra box of 6 straights.
So in total I should have 32 curves & 14 straights (& 1 curve with a broken tab), so any ideas what layout this could give me ?

If you can get some points you would have plenty to make this, which is the short version of the portable layout:

Titan,
I'm speachless .
That is some layout, the moment I saw it, I was on the internet, looking at points prices. So needless to say, when I finally get some money together, I'm going to give this a layout ago.
Many thanks for sharing this Titan.
Regards
