guard it?  he would rather eat it  the only reason hes looking at the camera is because I called him before that he was tasting it

paul-c when I redecorate I will send you the wall paper but you may have to reasemble it

thanks from what I have heard on here they are not to popular and I can see why very poor build quaility in comparison to the earlier 1s

yeah but the control knob is right on top of the boiler I can imagine it gets quite hot and its made out of plastic all in all it looks a bit cheap to me but its all about personal opinion

nah i have one and it aint bad  

the plastic knob dosent get hot its only the metal which does

what about the plastic valve gear I have heard it falls apart after a couple of runs and it still seems a bit of a daft place to put the control knob

i have run mine loads of times and its fine not had a problem with it yet  

some of the guys on here have seen it run as well at meets

The valve gear isnt plastic its metal painted black

Mine got hot enough to come off the threaded valve assembly. Had to glue it back on. This was a problem with the early Mamod Williams as well, later ones have a brass knob which uses an 'O' ring around the outside which comes off instead!

oh thanks for the correction I think this is just what mamod need if they are going to compete with wilesco cant wait to see this new valve gear on 1 of there roller

mine hasnt done that yet    you must have got it pretty dam hot
