Ran Vincent today and somethings deffinety up with the burner

It needed a lot more turns of the gas valve before any gas actually started venting and when I got it to light it would start off OK but then slowly burn down and aventually go out

I dont know, I suspected a partially blocked jet so I tried clearing it but it doesnt seem to have made any differance so Ill have to get that looked at by Ferrysteam see what he makes of it.

anyway I eventually got it going and managed to get it to run so slow if would be considered slow even on a real narrow gauge railway, it actually took it exactly 2 minutes to make a complete circuit of the line

this is becoming my faviourate spot to take pics

whiste!

gotta keep those weeds down so run trains, lots and lots of low slung trains to keep those pesky weeds at bay

and I think I might have run her dry
so I got out the simplex and a set of log bogies for a bit

gotta love these multihieght couplings

Your railway is a work of art Pauly. And the pictures are superb. I like this one in particular. The track looks so real. Very nice job. Really first class.

I was going to try and buy online, but am smart enough not to if I dont know what size to get, would end up with too big or too small. Guess I will have to visit the Home Center next time I go to the City.

No biggie, lrngth and width of a lonk and approximate thickness. I plan on eventually buying some IP Multi Height couplers and do not want the chain to be too thick to fit in them; I can wait till I get them and in fact that wold be the smart thing to do

Iv been very busy these last couple of days.

what with it getting darker sooner on evenings I cant let my 3 inch high passengers ride in dark carriages!
I could just fit lghts to my existing coaches but I used it as an excuse to paint some Bachmann pre lit coaches

all Iv done is remove the decals and painted them

also Iv started work on a cardboard loco kit Iv had lying around for years
