this boiler of mine is going to be pressure tested and looked over by a model engineer this Tuesday. I'm hoping to get it all silver soldered for safety reasons.

Good luck mate - silver soldering on such a big boiler is very important - I assume it's just the fittings that need doing, not the boiler itself?

thanks Odilon. I'm not sure, but I'd like everything to have a thorough going over (except for whistle & engine- I know they work ok )

By the looks of it it's in the Yarrow design Clinton
