I am thinking that Indiana Jones did the longer flight sequence with a twin engined Beechcraft, could be wrong, a more "modern" plane.

You could be right John, Planes are one of the very many things about which I know next to nothing.

Absolutely superb John. Thanks for posting the photos & video of a real old time classic plane.

And it was Ford Tri-motor N9651 which featured in the first 10 mins of Indiana Jones - Temple of Doom. It is now owned by Kermit Weeks at the 'Fantasy of Flight' Collection in Polk City, Florida.

I have been soing some reading, there were several aircraft in the various Indy Jones movies. I think a DC3 was featured someplace too.
