Well I won't be on as often. Working my normal job, then working with a pest control guy for a few hours whom I might buy his business.

Joys of daylight saving, and a 2pm knockoff as a Greenkeeper.

I underestimated the number of post after missing 1 night (2days), and now have to log off and go to bed. As I won't have current unread posts marked unread nexxt time I log on, i just wanted to say:

On all the new pics of collections/restos (MTA, Chuck) well done, and great to see.

Great to see new URL too

I wanted to respond to all posts, but don't have the time, so I'll sum it up here.

Also, the missus recently joined a forum. Large member numbers, has it's own chat room (bad idea). She showed me some posts, I was in shock and it made me want to re-iterate what I've always said.

These forums are just fantastic. Great knowledge base, helpful people, great discussion. Everyday is a step ahead here.

Well done everyone, thanks everyone, and thanks James

Sorry to hear we won't be getting so many of your posts Wallace.

I can understand the need for pest control looking at tmuirs pics.

Good luck mate. Look forward to hearing from you soon.

Damn, that reads a little wrong.

I should point out, I will be on, just not every night.

Every 2nd night now. Just have to judge timing right so I can read all posts.

It'll only be 'till Christmas

I always logged on everyday before.

So cutting visits in half.

Somehow I feel like I've lost the plot. A person scared of spiders getting in to pest control

My wife coming from Scotland used to hate spiders and would run away if she saw a cockroach.
Now she only calls me if the spider is greater than 5cm across, she still hates cockroaches but atleast she doesn't scream when she see them now.
You get used to the beasties, you have no choice.

Our getting less input from you will be a hardship, Wallace. I very much enjoy your posts. Sometimes I stick my neck out on a post, I worry a bit, then later I'll see in your reply that you backed me up. I suppose I'll have to hush up a bit until you return!

In times of bug-panic, you might humorously mention to your wife,
that our distant ancestors loved to eat them for supper.

LOL, I'll look for my SE2 while I'm there

Well couldn't help myself, logged on, but luckily not too many posts to read.

Most of the pest control for this guy is for termites, cockroaches, and sometimes rats.
Most is spraying foundations/slabs for a new house ready to be built. For termites.
Most other crawlies, like spiders, is just done on outside of houses, under eves. He has had to remove the odd funnel web nest, or spray. That can't be good, but he said it's no hassles.

So I should be right. Basically I'm doing this as a backup in case of redundancy. People have bought the Golf Course, and we aren't sure what's going to happen. They are adding a huge resort, but not sure if they will contract the course maintenance site out.

This is who bought it.

Basically a development company. Should be better for us, if we get kept on though

Pest control wher you live?

1. Wear long trousers and tuck them into your socks.
2. Wear long sleeves and tuck them into your gloves.
3. Wear full body armour and facemask.
4. Carry an AK47 (it doesn't jam).

You know why the pest controller need 2 people to do the job in Australia?

One lies down as bait and the other gets the bugs.
Hopefully before they get the helper.
