Welcome back to Sandmans table on Sunday morning.

Lots more goodies to come throughout the day including first time steaming of some shineys, and a former EOTM winner.

First let me put on the table some pics of my Luton Bowman's.

I have three in total. A PW 201, 202 Overtype and a 203.

Here they are as my first on the table today.

You have a wonderful range of engines and what you have achieved this weekend is incredible.

Well done.    Thumbs up!

Next up on the table is the first of the shineys and one of my favourites. This is the first steaming since restoration.

It's a Mamod SE1 Flatbase Disc Crank.

When I got it from ebay, the base was scorched through and I had to repaint the base with and exact match while masking off the decal to save it.

I was pleased with the the result.

Here is how it looked before restoration.

And here it is after restoration.

Well, how will it perform. Let's see.

Next on the table is my Minor 2 Flatbase.

Another shiney, this one is a first steaming since restoration as well.

It was bought at the STIA and was in a bit of a sorry state.

Before restoration.

After Restoration.

Will she steam???

Staying with the Mamod theme, this next shiney is a Minor 1 Disc Crank.

I have two of these little engines, and I rather like both of them.

I decided to steam one up for the big weekend.

Minor 1 Disc Crank.

I don't have many tools, but I have picked up a couple with engine deals. Here are a few pics.

I think Mirko said it was a doll, but I can't quite remember. (Senility)

Right, it's time to get the gloves off.

The next engine must rank among my all time favourites, and I would never part with it.

It is of course my beloved Bowman M 101.

My thanks to Moose, who helped me restore this one with endless advice and tips, as it needed a new boiler stay and various bits and bobs done to make it steam tight and able to run.

It is a previous EOTM winner and of course a shiney.

I've never steamed it since its partial resto, so here goes.

This was how I got it.

This is how it looked after partial restoration.

Bowman M 101.

Breaking the rules to post here, sorry, your shiny brass on the Bowmand and Mamods are an inspiration. I hope you do not throw away your Brasso for good.

Your M101 is a cracker Sandy! I haven't had time to get mine sorted out for this weekend, but when I do I hope it goes like that.

Thanks guys, but I honestly didn't know how it would run when I put it on the bench.

I shouldn't have worried though as it went like a dream. (Thank God )

Next up on the table is another Bowman.

It's an M175 and other than a quick chimney repaint which came from a can of something I had lying around, it's original.

I think I need to do a full resto here to bring it back to its former glory.

Bowman M 175.
