materials recieved today but cocked up the tube diameter and the ashpan and cladding

quick update
smokebox, dart, door and chimney have arrived, i just need the 3/16" brass bar for the smokebox lock.
i need to order new tubes, cladding and ashpan material which ill do this week.
new boiler barrel material should be also here this week.
all will be sent to the boiler maker for next week so he can make a start.
whistle and drain cocks also arrived with the smokebox. whistle is great but havnt fitted the drains yet. _________________ Any man who says he's brave is either an idiot or a liar - Fred Dibnah

i have spent the morning making up a mock coal boiler to see for proportions for body work and practicallity.
i also made some new running boards which i wanted to do for ages to make it more like a bagnall.
end results a great and look so much better than before.
here are the pics anyway:

Considering the minor differences between yours and the real thing, I like how yours looks better! The chunkier smokebox makes the engine look less spindly. You've done a good job. I can't wait to see it in metal. _________________ Wasserstand beachten |

another update:
i have now fittede DJB auto drain cocks to the cylinders, a bit fiddly but ill know for next time.
the frames and stretcher have just had a third coat of red spray on the inside.
the motion work will be next to be sprayed red.
