Model Engineers Laser was a good move, I use him for all my laser cutting!

| i just thought id read through this whole thread again and am wondering why, graham, you chose to fire it by gas? was that just becuase its simple and quick to get going? Id like to say id have it coal fired... but id end up with gas haha. Did coal firing cross your mind? |

Cam coal fireing is still an option I have enough tube here to build another boiler and after running a coal fired engine at my local club Im hooked so keep watching this space  _________________

well I had a disaster today working on the slide for the other side not thinking I cut it upside down so now its stuffed and have to make another one  _________________

David not your fault mate was just me off work with the dreaded lurgi and decided to fill in the day. wasnt thinking strait
any way it will be ok as have plenty of flat steel to cut another one out of. just a little setback  _________________

Im with John........This project is great and you are doing a fine job!
That valve gear looks sweet....better keep the ballast off the ties though as it looks low...or is it just the pic?.
