My Bowman 135 arived today.
Just had time to open it up and first impressions are very good.
It's been cleaned up at one time and I'm not sure if the base paint is original.
All it needs is a good clean and it will be ready for the meet.
More info and pics once I get time. _________________ Ouch! Where's the burn cream

Yep everything is there, even the oiler tap.
I'm really pleased with it. Won't take long to buff up at all. _________________ Ouch! Where's the burn cream

I've also got a cute little MM1 disc that I plan to bring to the meet as well. It should clean up a treat as well. _________________ Ouch! Where's the burn cream

I was reading through the instructions for the engine last night
and I liked the following lines.
"The life of a well cared Bowman is extraordinarily long and we have known some
engines 3 and 4 years old and still doing trojan work."
I wonder what they would think now as they are still running like a dream. Real quality. _________________ Ouch! Where's the burn cream

Wow, nice info there SM
Considering things were made to last back then, I wonder how many parents bought them for their kids and saw that and thought
"is that all they last for?" _________________
