Not being a sheep expert, they look very nice - certainly better looking than the ones we get out on Dartmoor - who always look mean and suspicious - if indeed a sheep can have facial expressions!

Nice one James.

They are nice looking sheep. You aren't going to eat them are you

I'm not a vegetarian by any means, but they look too good for eating.

Did one of them fancy you mate

No way! Not my prize winning Lincolns! None of our animals are ever sold or leave us once we get them, thats why we have so many

It's a bugger when you are fancied by a male sheep

LMFAO. I could imagine. In some places though, being fancied by a sheep may be considered good (I will stop here!)

Good to hear you won't be ating them.

Just wondering. There is a procedure here and I can't recall the name but sheep farmers have to do something near sheeps rear end (remove a bit of skin) to stop some bad fly infestation.

Do you have to do it there?
It's been on the news here about the singer Pink, speaking out against it.

Fly strike? Ahh, that is a pain in the arse (literally). he flies come and lay eggs on the sheeps bum, and the eggs hatch into maggots. Then, the maggots eat the sheep away from the inside. We have had a couple, and when you squeeze two bits of skin together, maggots come pouring out of little holes. It is awful. Next summer if we get it I'll video it. We were lucky this year, we escapwed and everyone else got it bad.
