Ok last night i had a strange idea. Take one Nintendo NES (broken)and put a Tesco Value DVD player inside. I think it would work quite well but i am wondering how i would go about the task.

you would need to take the NES apart and remove all the components inside and then cut a slit in the NES so you can reach the buttons on the DVD player. It's a crazy idea....but I like it.

Depends on the dimentions Buzz for the DVD player

You're alright with space inside the NES, people have put PC's inside them!

Basically you'd have to take the dvd player apart and see if the main board would fit inside! You have the right design for the DVD tray to come out....

It'll be tricky but its do-able, maybe

Step one is gut out the NES and see what room you have

200 pound buy it now?

Seller is very optimistic.

Nice idea though.
I know you guys don't like Playstations, but I have seen one where someone added a screen, and rechargable power pack (or run from lighter in car), so it was a portable DVD player/PS2

I thought the same, then I thought "Back when I was a teen right into Sega, I'd like to do the same"

So probably cos they are big nintendo fans.

Still, can't beleive the price of buy it now. Reserve will be high too I guess.
For that price you can get a dvd recorder with hard drive over here.

Our "2nd" DVD player cost us about 30pound and plays all type of DVD (RW, -R etc)
