This is the first firing of this engine so remember it is not run in yet.
You can hear it pick up speed through the vid as it starts to run in and its already fast.

The poping noise is the water in the exhaust leaving the exhaust pipe in the chimney.

And yes that is a Luton Bowman burner.

Looks like a very well made engine. Excellent. I agree with Mike. That looks 'run in' already.

I'm vrey pleased with it.
Notice on the close up on the flywheel there is no wobble or sideways movement, everything fits together just right.
Nice to know you can still buy a quality new engine for a reasonable price.

A silky smooth runner that one.

Some nice finishing touches around the firebox vents, and the 'Steamco' name stamped in an arc in the side sets it off nicely.

A very nice engine.
