At the beginning of summer I did some very temporary repair to my airconditioner to keep it working.
Two weeks ago I had ACs installed in my 2 bottom bedrooms.
Two days ago I bought the AC for my living room and have arranged for it to be installed this Sunday.

Today my main airconditioner died so no AC in the main part of thehouse until I get the new AC installed.
Forcast for tomorrow is 40 C in Perth which means atleast 44 C at my house with no AC for the main part of the house.

My wife has already moved to spare bedroom which has AC in it.
But my PC is now in the non airconditioned part of the house.
Its 9:15pm and it 31 C at my computer desk.

Not going to waste money fixing old AC asit is coming up to 30 years old.
Just need to hurry up the install of the last 2 split system ACs.

Hopefully can get it all done next week.
On another note that will please Yosa within the next week my house will become spider and bug free as I just spent $1650 getting my house sprayed for termites, spiders and other bugs today.

The bugs will be gone soon but the weather is hot and I have lots of lizards around at the moment so will try and get some pics of them instead.
There is a 30cm lizard in my front yard that is too fast for me too see what it is yet, will have to try and snap a pic of it.

You just get the odd slug mate??

Well, you need one of these in your backyard

A blue tongue lizard. That will get rid of any slugs or snails

This one lives around our backyard. He is a good teacher too, as he taught my daughter not to touch snakes. He bit her

About a month ago I found a small diamond python in our yard. I caught it, put in a pillow case and released it at work (to save it I hope).
Little did I know my daughter saw me catch it. So when she saw this blue tongue, she called it a snake, went up to it, and tried to grab it and it bit her. Not hard, but shocked her and she cried.

Now she has learnt, and won't even go near the snakeskin I found ages ago.

So it was a good lesson

Aye, it's the way to learn MTA.

Nah James, not really chubby, that's just how they are. From behind their front legs to their back legs their body flares right out.

I think they get to about a foot long. That one wasn't too far short of it.

I just noticed in the pic, I think it has a tick at it's "ear".

On it's side between it's eye and front legs there is a black dot.

They regularly get ticks. One I got that was infested with ticks I removed them. Don't know if it's the right thing to doo, but you feel sorry for them.
Next time I see him I'll check

The babies are cute. Only about 3 inches long

I was thining it was the skinniest Blue Tongue lizard I've ever seen, the ones here are very different much fatter, also know as Bob-tail lizards.

This is what the blue tongue lizards look at around my house.
Obviously a different sub-species to the ones on the east coast.

Forgot to mention these lizards have 6 times the biting power of a pit bull dog. If they bite you you will not get them off you until they are bored with biting you.
In other words.
KEEP YOUR HANDS AWAY FROM THEM

Luckily they are very slow but if you tease them they will snap at you.
