Sounds interesting

Any pics or video? What model would it be based on and piston valve or oscillating?

Presumably piston valved; otherwise, it would be an SP5!

I, too, would be interested in seeing photos and/or videos. Being made to special order, they probably cost more than I can justify spending

A Mod should move this to General Discussion where it will get more views, and possible lead to more sales.
I agree a picture would be great, even poor quality one.

There's a couple of us here who'd be looking for royalties if they did that

So to continue this thread, my thinking was not particually a twin, but more of a Mamod Premier, Classic, Delux, Vanden Plas, GTI type model. The top end Wilesco's and Jensen's cost £300+ so what would a £300+ Mamod model deliver????

Ross

Well I was thinking more in terms of a free prototype

Seriously, though; if Mamod did create a tripple, I would hope it would be designed from the ground up rather than being just an extended twin (which is what mine was). If Mamod were to make some acknowlegement of any inspiration they gain from my efforts, it would be gratefully received; but the knowledge that I was the first would suffice.

A London bus?

But a Vanden Plas stationary would be interesting to see.

Nice to see you are at work bright and early.
A slightly more complete specification might solicit attention.

Lets hope something with axle bearings instead of another shaft through sheet metal ....

The new Loco is a twin cylinder with bearings for the axles. I dont think any TE be it Mamod or Wilesco has bearings. I dont think any Stationary does either, shouldnt be that difficult to engineer though, but would affect the cost of manufacturing, I bet it would set them apart.

why does mamod just post once, then not answer anybody's questions afterwards? I mean, as far as I've seen (and I may be nearsighted) mamod only ever posts once in a given forum.
