Well i now have all versions of the David Auld TE with the addition of the cast wheel version on its way. it was listed on Trademe for high price but after talking to the owner i have got it for a much ruduced price that is close to its value so i am very happy. here are some photos

Does it have a mamod smokebox? It looks different from the usual boiler front on your other Auld engines.

they are very similar to the Mamod smokebox but its not a Mamod one... David Auld chainged the hole look of the TE when he went to cast wheels.

Well he did a fine job, that is a handsome engine. I Really like the beefy look of the cylinder assembly and the cast wheels.

Never seen a David Auld TE over here but they must be around.

That’s lovely, well done - It looks in very good condition as well.

The only difference I can see with the one I have is the SV and the brass fly wheel, mine is has red flywheel same as the older Auld’s (its on my website if anyone wants to compare)

All in all a lovley engine.
