I'll have a look in my repro catalogues when I get home, but I get the impression that it's a later model and my cat's are all earlier.

I've just checked my Bing catalogues, from 1898 - 1915, and no 0-4-0T's. There are a few 0-4-0's but they are all with tenders, no side tanks. I think this loco must be later than 1915.

The sign in front which says it is classic gauge 1 makes it shure that it certainly is a BING engine. When you donīt find it in your catalogues it might be a rare one manufactured for Basset-Lowke. This would make sense as thereīs no typical BW sign. This sits normally under the smokebox where the gauge 1 sign takes place. The loco will run fine on 45mm rails. The thick rims of the wheels make them look like 48mm but thats ok!

cheers Joe

I have a 1927 - 1936 catalogue but I cannot see it in there.

Unless I've been drinking too much Fullers Golden Pride - looks like a 4-4-0T to me.

Of course, you're right. I don't know why I typed 0-4-0 when I did actually mean 4-4-0 I was definitely looking for 4-4-0T's in the catalogues.
