Do not worry, the generators do have a "break-in" period. They are quite tight initially, but as you use them they loosen up. If you want to accelerate the process, get the pulley off ant spin it with a drill, it will be much easier to turn after that. Also understand that if you are running the lamp, the circuit regulates to the operational range of the LED, not allowing the voltage to exceed it. When the lamp is off, you should be able to produce much higher voltage. |
