I got my Kookaburra today and I've got to say its real heavy.
Enjoy the pictures.

The display case is standard with the engine.

Each engine is serial numbered. Mine is 267

Close up of the workings.

The burner is actually fixed to the base and filled via the copper pipe (I think)

Nice heavy duty cast firebox.

A nice finishing touch is the company name burnt into the wood under the base.

I haven't fired it yet as only got it today but will try running it soon.

The quality of this engine is fantastic and I got it for only $250 which is less than one third they sell for.

The only down point is the soldering on the cylinder is a bit sloppy, not sure if that is original or someones rework.

I'm glad its already been fired otherwise I wouldn't be able to bring myself to fire it.

I've been waiting almost a year for one of these to come on ebay and this is the first one.
Lucky for me it was badly listed so I was the only bidder.
