|
|
Since its so uncommonly nice here at the moment, ie the sun is out, I'd though I'd take a few pics of my M122, natural light is the best! John C has supplied me with an oiler (thanks!! ) - all I need now is a tap for it!
Took these a bit earlier . . . . enjoy.
The M122 engine is a pleasing lump!
My own pipework . . .
Modified with Meccano gears . . .
£50 burner lamp!!!( )
In my eye this is close to toy steam perfection, the lines are just superb, unbeatable . . .
One of my decal/stickers . . .

Damn that looks good
Must be one of your favourite engines Mike
Bits that stick out for me are the burner (nice brass) and the double cylinders with oiler covers! Certainly beefs up the whole engine Mike! I thought I was done with buying Bowmans Definately not
The quality in these pre-war engines is just amazing and a true living example of the best engines ever designed/built! _________________ Solid Fuel tablets explode
