| Looks great chris, i must start cleaning up mine soon. Is the lever arm on the whistle, brass or alloy? Mines alloy, which is probably a replacement. |

As far as i'm aware they were all Brass... I've had a fair few...
I guess it's possibly a replacement... but you can't say for 100% sure  _________________ Solid Fuel tablets explode
You could get a nice flatbase for that

Thanks, MJ, the lever arm is definately brass with a black rubber cover (original?) over it.

Already have, both before and after the restoration to check the dezincafication areas for leaks. Unfortunately haven't got a video camera or broadband yet so can't do a vid, when things change I'll do one.
