Bargain, I saw that and was tempted. Would have rebuilt as 32mm gauge.
I just don't have the time at the moment though. _________________ Chris

ive seen that looks good...
as mine is the pre-production prototype there are a few teething problems. the face plates the cylinders are on arent as thin as on the production model so hold more steam between stops so it shoots of when you re open the regulator but the production models dont.
as for price with cheddar now shut down get one as soon as you can the price will get higher for a iver anything from £500 plus. the engines are built to battleship standard and will not wear for many years. they have bushes that the wheels run in and i think there sprung ect
thsi is what i want to gethttp://www.pps-steam-models.co.uk/ its on the accucraft section and is called edrig (thats are local live steam loco dealer) |

I have been looking at Edrig, and the budget roundhouse locos (Millie and Bertie, don't like the looks of the other one so much).
I only have a simple loop of mamod track though, so not sure whether I want to actually spend that much money.
Just like the idea of having another loco (I've got an SL1), and want something a bit different from another SL1/2/3/4 or MSS.
Also quite like the look of the PPS Janet (basically seems to be a Mamod with all the upgrades, and slightly prettier looking...MM would disagree I'm sure). _________________ Chris

i wont aswell wrong gauge for me
if you see one for sail and want to no what gauge it is just look and see if its outside frame (wheels on the inside) wich on a cheddar engine makes it 32mm and inside frame (wheels on outside) for a 45mm one |

Was looking at that and wondering how they changed the gauge.
Could see there wasn't enough room inside the frames. _________________ http://www.freewebs.com/ozsteam/index.htm
