Much better . . . .

Everyone needs an early roller. A classic little piece!

Have to agree. A lovely addition to any collection and at the price you paid it's a great little restoration.

Should i repack the wadding in my meths burner (the gauze sits about half way down) - is it hard to do?

Trying to give this little machine every chance i can to run brilliant!

You have to unclip the top of the burner, it's fairly easy!

Repack it cotton wool

Only if you need to though

its on its way! One problem is there seems to be water collecting in the base of the funnel. This is being spat out at force when the engine is running. Is this normal?

You will get some water collecting at the base ofthe Chimney as the exhaust vents into it and some of the steam will condense there.

Where is the water being 'spat' out from? Worst you normally get is a small dribble from where the front wheels attach to the smoke stack assy. - unless the chimney is already full of water.

Straight out of the top of the chimney! When I look down their the chimney is about half full. Will have another look tomorrow. Hopefully the overflow will be here as well!
