It is a very good price, you pay much more for a factory made "diesel".

I think the next step up is an Accucraft Baguley-Drewry diesel, they look very nice and you can get sound systems for them. You can also fit R/C at a later stage

The accucraft look good, but are £150.

Think these carboard/wood ones are good value especially as it is something I would just set running while getting steam up.

Cheers

NO!! The builder has obviously designed this, as Locolines have a completly diffrent design of loco, www.locolines.net/kits.htm scroll down untill you see 'Chunky'! If you go on Peters site you can se that he owns a selection of the Locolines locos, and I presume that he got the idea from there!

By the time you buy that and a chassis for £23 from IP, and some varnish etc I think that just goes to show what a good price these ready made ones are!
