I was thinking American too.

The owner actually thought it was Japanese made, which it could be?

But I was thinking PPS, Roundhouse, something like that?

PPS and Roundhouse are English companies, definately not Roundhouse and pretty sure not PPS.

I dont know all the American companies though and dont know any of the Japanese ones.

I dont think it scratch built as look at all the detail pressed into the metal of the cabin.
That would take a serious setup to do that.

Ive seen some serious scratch built stuff in my time - that would be no trouble for a dedicated builder.

True well within the reach of a serous model engineer but what makes me think not scratch built aswell is I think I've seen something very similar elsewhere.....if only I can remember where.......
