Well just an update here.

I didn't open a dispute, for reasons that MM mentioned.

Unfortunately I didn't get around to leaving neg feedback as yet, and today I received an invoice. Told me that "obviously invoices were not gettting through so they logged onto ebay.com.au to send me one".
So clearly they were getting my emails and such, and had sent invoices but through my emails could see I wasn't getting them. Well that, or they've made up the whole story.

I paid, no other choice unless I wanted a npb alert filed.
I just hope I got it.

Makes you wonder whats going on.
Stay tuned for results here

Does, doesn't it Mike?

Odd thing is this.
I hadn't sent them a email for nearly a week. So why the sudden realisation that I wasn't getting a invoice? Had they sent me an invoice over a week ago, I would have more expected a kinda "hurry up and pay" response by now.

Second, it's quite clear looking at their feedback that they have had this problem before, no communication that is, and why they would have to log onto OZ ebay to get an invoice to me I don't know.

So all those non communication neg feedbacks were a result of invoices not getting through? Doubt it.

I was only just over a day of bidding on a similar MM1 or a couple.

I just hope I get it. I did pay via Paypal, so I'm hoping that's my insurance.

Jeez, the things some of us have to do eh?
Incredible

After paying for my problem engine I recevied a reply a little later saying thanks for payment, blah blah, Mondays are chaotic so items paid for on weekends are sent on Tuesdays blah blah blah.
Seems auto generated email.

Then, Around Sat night my time (say Sat lunchtime UK time) I get an email saying it 's been sent, and should I have any problems, or postage is taking longer than expected, to contact her so on so on. Not used to Saturday mail/post offices open here, but James confirmed it does happen.

So I'll wait and say. Receive Fri maybe?

LOL, Blighty, is that what they call UK?

Anways, usually 7 days (5 working days)
So if she sent it Saturday, and it got to Heathrow by Monday morning your time, it should be here Friday. But I won't expect that.

My drive bands postmarked 21/8 got here 28/8. That is normal time

Wow this is an old one Les.

The engine arrived, 1 week after I expected it too, and was posted the day I expected it to arrive.
Something else happened where I was threatened with neg feedback. Can't recall the details

This seller was still selling about 6months ago, and was still receiving Neg feedback for same problems.

I see they are no longer a registered user.

Just take a look at their feedback

serendipity_online if the link fails

I'd like to think ebay removed them, but bet they didn't

22 negatives in a year!?!?

What's it take for ebay to kick someone off?

Keep in mind that is the last 12months those 22 negs.
Take into account their last feedback was Sept last year, that means roughly 22 negs in 5 months

At the time I had the trouble, is when ebay told me they would never kick someone off for a lot of neg feedbacks. It was only due to x amount of non paying bidders, or item not received, complaints, that were official that they could do something
